At Zoey's we are fanatics for freshness. Everything we sell must meet a freshness standard higher than some four star restuarants. We check our inventory daily. Sometimes an item is still perfectly fresh and completely edible but doesn't meet the Zoey's standard, perhaps in a very minor way. Or, in the case of our famous breads, they might be a day old. We regularly take these items and joyfully donate them to the area food cupboard. This makes Zoey's the largest contributor of fresh food to the neighborhood food shelf. The value of our annual contribution is around $35,000 and everybody wins!
